The paper making technology of YHLM has reached an internationally leading level. YHLM can produce a kind of innovative recyclable paper of modern technical features using calcium carbonate and coal gangue powder as the main raw materials, using polymers and several inorganic materials as the auxiliary materials, using the principles of polymer interface chemistry and the characteristics of filling modification, and using the process of blow molding after special processing. This product can be used as substitute for common cultural paper, industrial paper, packaging paper, and household paper, and has such advantages as high resistance against tearing, folding, oil, water and fungus, no chemical toxicity, allowing of direct contact with food, and so on.
Compared with traditional paper making technologies, this technology requires no water, consumes no wood resource, and produces no waste gas or solid waste during production. In addition, the products are degradable. A pollution-free green project may be built using this technology. With an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons of such eco-friendly paper, such a project can save about 24,000,000m3 of fresh water and about 2,400,000 trees each year, equivalent to planting of 324,000mu of trees. The unit energy consumption of such project is 2/3 of traditional paper making process. Therefore, it is a high-tech project of circular development and comprehensive utilization.
